10mb file size okay for a PDF?

Blue Ghost

SOC-14 5K
Knight
So, I've got some pretty decent graphics for my Traveller PDF that I want to sell, and I'm curious here; is 10mb too big for a PDF file? Is that too big a product for you all, or is that okay in our day and age of incredibly big hard drives and superfast net connections?

Thanks for any response :)

I think it sounds like a big download although I have downloaded some pretty hefty pdf files. I guess I still think in terms of modem dial up even though I've had high speed wireless for a year now.

Just a thought, if your graphics are done in a vector program like Illustrator I think the SVG format will allow some very high resolution illustrations at small file size.

At 10meg, I'd be expecting at least 50pp.
Or 30 pp w/loads of illos.

.... hmmm .... I like CosmicGamer's response best :D

Here's a facsimile of what I've created; ----> :frankie:
