3d traveller printed starships

if only I (1) had a 3D printer, (2) the patience to work with said 3D printer and (3) someplace to put that if I did print it at a 3rd party print shop (with that additional expense as well)

Does look really cool, though I'd like to see more details as to the interior. But as I am not in that market sadly. Maybe eventually - 3D printing has gotten much more affordable and hopefully easier.

Very nice. Pricey.

And it's not clear to me that it's "Drag and drop" to a service bureau.

I still have no experience in 3D printing, and it still seems really fiddly.

It would be nice if they posted the instructions and process for an utter novice to get one of these printed successfully.

And I didn't see any mention of instructions on how to put them together.

But I see a Scout ship costing a $100+ just in materials and for the plans, with no mention of any work necessary to do the print plus final assembly and finishing, plus painting.

You do get full instructions once you back it, they're quite comprehensive. However yes 3D printing is a full on hobby in and of itself, it's not drag and drop or plug and play.

it would be interesting to see the "deckplans" of one of these Scouts.

Most of the others are best guesses, but here's someone who has "built one", so their deckplans are as good as were going to get.

If you look at the “About Campaign” tab on the page and scroll down, there’s renderings of battlemap-style deckplans and exterior views of it. They’re actually quite cool IMO.

I'm currently printing part 3 for it on my FFF printer, plus the interior cockpit and chairs on my resin printer. This thing is huge.
