[Advice] 6 hour adventure

Stainless

SOC-12
Dear All,

I want to run a brief scenario with two players to test MGT.I have two evenings to do this in (6 hours tops). Can anyone recommend a good adventure?

Shadows has an 8 hour time limit due to the atmosphere degradation of the vacc suits. Have the computer tell them it's less time and run it as a real time game from the point they walk out of the ship. Definitely a cliffhanger if you separate it between two nights.

The only other brief one I can think of off the top of my head is Rubicon Cross, which is a derelict ship scenario. Maybe not long enough for what you need.

I like Horde. It has around ten episodic-like scenes, each complete in their own right. You can easily skip the ones you want, though you would probably want to use the opening and closing scenes. I picture you GMing your group by picking the scenes you like, and then playing them one at a time until you're near the end of your time limit. Then you jump to the closing scene.

My favourite adventure for testing a new rule system or introducing new players is a run through Death Station. It lets you show them how the guns work, and is quite suspense filled to boot.

Annic Nova - no fights

Shadows - too boring for words

IMHO of course ;)

Really? Stranded in a remote, and highly undetectable, part of a planet that forces you to battle hordes of creatures while trying to resolve a dilemma within an alien structure in order to escape, all within a 6-8 hour time limit due to the acidic nature of the planet's atmosphere, is your definition of boring???

Interesting. :)

I have to give you some credit though. Death Station is pretty cool as well.
