On the plus side, according to timeline they've got about, what, three thousand years to perfect the process and the technology needed to cram a person onto a wafer.

Cool, but it's based on the premise that the connectome is the complete memory of a person, regardless of the electrical charges or chemical compositions within it. I think that's pretty flawed.
