Teach Yourself Anglic
It's easy! Practically the same thing as English... well with a few, minor, changes. Okay a lot of changes. But the word order is the same as our English, so it's mainly just a cipher.
He tel sebunder Echiste. That ship is bound for Echiste.
Maybe it's a little more agglutinative than our English, but the parts are still the same:
/he/ that. Also 'e' would work just fine.
/tel/ ship.
/sebunder/ "is bound for". This is just /se/ is /bund/ bound /er/ for.
The Corpus
Oh yes, we do have some isolated samples of Anglic. And they're canon, too. Well, if you're prepared to make an assumption.
The assumption is that many of the Imperial world names in the Spinward Marches are based on Anglic -- those which are obviously not Vilani or Sylean or perhaps 'archaic' English.
So for instance, here's some words I see that appear to be Anglic. Meanings yet unknown/unassigned. But... they can suggest how words are put together (morphology).
I've assumed vowels where they don't actually exist [in brackets] just for fun.
This is all just for fun. I've always wanted to 'see' what Anglic might look like.
Choleosti. /chole[r]/ anger /ost/ bone /i/ 'like'. /osti/ [slang] badlands. "Angry ridges."

Knorbes. /kn/ shine /orb/ world /es/ [progressive] = shining world.
Forboldn. /f[]/ bold, brave /orb/ world /old/ change in status /[]n/ ?. = Brave "new order" world.
"-ie" words. Sort of loose.

Pixie
Uakye (is this a different sound?)
Hef[e]ry Might share /fer/ with Feri?
