ArmCo Weapon and Vehicle Catalog + Adventure

Hello-
I went to work in creating an adventure for T5 as well as a bunch of equipment for my players to use. The project suddenly snowballed and my cheesy xls spreadsheet became a 26 page full traveller scenario plus a cheesy spreadsheet. I cleaned it up a bunch, added a map made in CC3 and then attached it below.

The pdf includes a set of weapons built with the gunmaker (I'm sure there are errors in there, but it looks good to me) plus a visit to the ArmCo Testing and Evaluation center. Everything is in there for the full scenario as well as some neat options to expand. I hope some of you get use out of it :)

You've been busy, and WOW what a nice catalog! Simple and effective. That's the way I like it.

Well, I really like how you did your weapon entries. QREBS is space-delimited, which is less distracting than commas and more readable than a string with letters; you've in-lined notes for added features; it still fits on two lines. Wow.

I suggest breaking them into broad categories, otherwise shoppers will be overwhelmed. Sidearms, longarms, support, perhaps.

Similarly your vehicles.

What I had done after weapon listings is also put them in a table as a reference guide. It's a pain, but it's clean and does work well for reference.

Well done, this looks great.

"Prepare to lunch!" will feature in my games at some point

Well that line was a play on people who translate things directly and they don't quite come out the way they were originally intended.

That being said, I was going to put together some more stuff for Traveller5 and I was curious if there anything that people are looking for in particular. I had an idea to make a set of equipment split into TL 5-8 for those world's roughly in the 1900-2000s plus the vehicles that they might have.

I was also thinking about putting together another adventure where players are tasked with dropping some supplies off at a archaeological dig just to lose contact on the way down to the surface. Apparently the scientists triggered an ancient's weapon without realizing what it was.

I was also thinking about building a typical colonial defense brigade complete with weapons, vehicles and organization.

"roughly".

what would you depict that isn't already listed in a modern TOE?

Was that going to be something that was fully mechanized with cav/armour, SP arty and air defence, a decent C4ISR capability that included rotary/x-wing/grav elements, engineers with lots of gucci kit, nice combat support services in the rear echelon, and an escalating series of medical roles heading back from the pointy end?

Or were you more thinking of a couple of battalions still trying to morph into battlegroups, a towed artillery regiment, basic AD, an a brigade HQ that knows it's got to be very careful about entangling with a company of drop-troops from anywhere outside the system?

Probably closer to the latter. Just enough to keep any insurrections from getting out of hand but not quite enough that a real heavy force wouldn't be able to curb stomp it. I've sort of morphed the idea into another one where a generation ship breaks up seeding a planet with different groups of people (and technology) that war over the debris that randomly falls from that ship as it decays. The story starts when a scout enters the system and discovers this had been going on for 300 years and before he can finish his report he goes missing.

Players would have to pick up where the scout left off and try to deal with the troubled folks.

Pretty sure I got this...

Just curios if you have a Traveller License for this?
Don't think he needs one since he isn't looking to sell from the link I used.

However Aramis is the resident copyright guy. Well, he seems to have it well covered. It seems to be part of his beat. :)

Copies of the book yeah. License I am not to sure on. If I need one to post free adventures and such I'll just take the stuff down that I did earlier.

Thanks for the link.
Looks like I am okay but I require a disclaimer added to it which I will add. Back to the other adventure:)
