Bladed weapons

With the discussion of the Foil in another thread I am reminded of a question that I have had recently.

What does a Machete count as?

A single edged Blade?

A short Cutlass?

I'd count all of these as a Blade.

Yep. The descriptions in CT should help you. A blade weighs 350 grams with a semi-basket hand guard and a 300 mm length blade. There's a pic of it on page 38 TTB.

A dagger is smaller.

The cutlass is the next in length.

Then the sword.

Then the broadsword.



So, it looks like the dagger classed weapon are all small knives and dirks and such. The blade are your in-between weapons that are long knives or short swords.
