When I was a teenager (too many years ago) I bought a boxed edition of Traveller from my local games shop. When I left home (much to my later regret) I gave it away to my brother's friend (along with with my MERP collection).
Starting in the mid-90s I got interested in Traveller again and have now a large collection Traveller books but have never seen the same version again.
The box art was similar to (or the same as) Starter Traveller but there was a single rule book not the seperate rule book/chart book like Starter Traveller. I remember the book had the vector movement rules for starship combat. This makes me think that the book was maybe The Traveller Book. Also, it contained Shadows and Mission on Mithril and a map of Mithril like Starter Traveller.
Is anybody else aware of this or am I completely mis-remembering it? One thought I had is that maybe it could have been a Games Workshop repackaging as they did do thier own versions of US games for the UK (e.g. the Games Workshop version of MERP has a completely different cover from the ICE version).
