You're a little late.
Check out Illustrated Guide to the Marches and get the SSC editor.

I have not messed around with it yet. I installed it two months ago but never really did anything with it and then my hard drive imploded. I have a backup drive to hold all the personal files so not a total loss.
Now that I see the main site it was most likely the first place everyone went.

Are there idiot’s instructions on installing the Traveller upgrades or is it something best left to the people who know what they are doing?

Mr Hemdian, Your SSC editor works most excellent

The only problem is I have to create the basic layout of the system before I can add the details.

I created a template that I cut'n'paste with to make the base from which to work.
It looks like this...

"PlanetA" "System"

"PlanetB" "System"

"MoonA" "System/PlanetA"

"Downport" "System/PlanetA"

"Highport" "System/PlanetA/Downport"

I just put the system together in the proper order and then open with your editor and finish the details.
Maybe being able to start a system from scratch would be most helpful, but otherwise it works great

Actually, you only need the first line of your template (used to set the system name). In the editor system tree if you right-click on "System" you can add a planet, if you right-click on a planet you can add a moon, etc. New items start appended but the tree should re-order itself once orbit size is set.

And in case you haven't found them, object diameter and orbit size (for planets) have Traveller options: S=n and O=n respectedly.

I do need to add a "start new system" feature plus provide some doco ...

Didn't know this.
This will make it Much easier. Thanks

The systems are beginning to roll off now...
