Clement Sector as an RPG

Recently Independance Games has been posting regarding folks not understanding Clement Sector is not just a setting, it is a complete RPG of its own.

So as someone who uses it, this is my opinion on Clement Sector as a stand alone RPG. I am going to say, it does have similar mechanics to Traveller, but it also has some unique twists and mechanics of its own. I do like how the core RPG rules are clean and simple enough to be easy to learn and use. I also like how the rules and the setting work together but are not so tied that you cannot introduce your own house rules and not break the game. I think the author, John Watts, has done a good job in creating a fun and complete SciFi game.

Like I said, just an opinion, but I would encourage folks to check it out. 😁

It needs a subtitle on its cover. Or better yet a new title.

The vast majority still think it is just a supplement/setting.

Which is a shame because it is both a great interpretation of the 2d6/CE rules and a nifty setting.

If it were more obvious it is the full rules and setting I would think it would sell more.
