I have a complete run of Alternity, including the Star*Drive & Dark*Matter settings & supplements. I'd like to get $100 plus shipping in the 48 states. Is anyone interested?
FYI, there are 50 states, not 48, and if you ship USPS, it's not costing a cent more to include the latter two, and is no more hassle nor risk, either.

I am sure he means the Lower 48, because shipping to Alaska and Hawaii can potentially cost more. Though I had thought that the USPS had the same rate to Ak and Hi..

Since he's not paying the shipping, but charging it to the buyer, it's no difference at all for his efforts.
FedEx and UPS are only a slight bit more to urban Alaska. USPS is no different for AK/HI at all. It doesn't take different paperwork, it doesn't take special handling.
(but try telling that to the Moron who held up my game order last year, waiting for Customs forms!)
The very attitude that it's acceptable to do so is a BIG problem. The issue that a lot of people don't think Alaska and Hawaii are part of the USofA is more of one.

An even more annoying phenomenon is people who advertise that they'll ship to the 'continental US' for $x.xx, but when they find out you're in Alaska after the sale is complete, they want to charge you two or three as much. Look at a map of the North American continent and you'll see that Alaska is on it. If you really mean that you'll ship to the lower 48 for $x.xx than you'd better say will ship to the 'contiguous USA' for $x.xx. And if you ship it anyway without first telling me you'll charge more thats fraud....
Might have someone queued ahead of me, but I'll try...
Are these still available?
Exactly what books are included?
What would shipping be to Canada (Victoria, BC, V9A 3N2). I'd prefer USPS; whatever's cheapest (I don't know if these'll all fit in a USPS Global Priority large flat-rate box, but if they do, I suspect that'd be a good price/time payoff).
Well ... I've realized that I'm only interested in the Player's Book and the Gamemaster's Guide, so if they're only being sold as a complete set I may forgo it. But I have not heard from ross, so dunno what's going on.

Just an FYI Uekuez, unless shipped without a true value(1) you should almost always choose USPS(2). The actual shipping may be more but you (usually) save a lot in avoiding the rip-off "brokerage" fees the courier companies slap on. Couriers are good for some things, but generally bad for cross border shipping personal stuff cost wise since they started the whole brokerage service fee scheme a few years back.
(1) which would be illegal and a bad idea as you should always insure so anything you actually want doesn't "fall off the truck"
(2) and make sure the person doing the shipping understands you mean USPS (United States Postal Service) and not UPS (United Parcel Service), I have had some make that mistake in past dealings.
