Confusion

I know Mongoose and Marc are publishing 2 different versions of Traveller. I played the game a lot as a kid in high school and really enjoyed classic Traveller. I fell out of RPGs for a long time and just now getting back into them. I am a bit tired of D&D so I wanted to look at my other favorite RPG.

T5 is currently only going to be produced in PDF format for now? I ask that question because when I go to Traveller5 I see pictures of books and 3-ring binders. Are these just mock ups?

What exactly will be on the CD ROM if I pre-order T5?

While I am here, does the Classic Traveller CD here at FarFuture have all the Classic Traveller books? By ALL, I mean the core books, the supplements, the games, etc? The FarFuture site isn't clear on this, as far as I can tell...

Yes T5 is only going to be files on a CD for now. Not just PDF's, spreadsheets have been mentioned. I think around a 1000 pages of stuff. "Reaction" to the CD will be used to later produce the 300 page or so book. As in the material released in the book will probably be a polished version of the CD, with less extras.

You might call the CD a playtest version, but I have hopes it will be of good quality. It WILL be a complete game (1000 pages!), and I love the idea that we will be able to give input before the book is released (which I assume will come much later).

That was a fan's mock up and not something that was ever actually planned.
