Contact! 7 New Species.

Well here's my dump of alien races from a far off sector, nowhere near OTU.

Solari:
Somewhere between a lizard and a giant insect, they have powerful mandibles, and wear body armour. Usually proficient with energy weapons, and dagger-style combat. They come from a system based on giant insects, huge planet-sized worms that spin their way through space, utilizing bodily ejections for inertia. The solari built vast networks throughout these space worms and learned to guide them with telepathic suggestion. The solari are a very inquisitive race and have studied many technologies and skills.

Hyara:
Thin but very muscular, their body is a sort of triple pronged lacework, that expands and contracts, breathing special chemicals it creates on the surface of its skin. They do not have a solid body as we know it, but many filaments of semi-solid energy material. The Hyara look very strange to our eyes, but are not out of place in the galaxy at large. They can ensare hands or limbs thrust into their "bodies" and are proficient with Telepathy, energy transfer and molto-corougional transport.

Lo Ilisiy
Solitary predatory creatures that have pre-learned abitilies and sensitivies to small movements. They rarely use weapons and have 4 powerful arms/scythes. quadrapedal.

Knell
Large hulking bipeds, that are half chaotic material, they shift and change before one's eyes. They are not particularly smart, but can and do learn different skills.

Tchapa
Server/hospitality species, shrouded in partial stasis fields, they are filthy, but the fields protect food and drink from their excrements, which pile up in the bottom of the stasis field. they hover about 2 meters in the air, and are of a very small stature (1m high). They use long probes and mechanical arms to interact with the world at large, and are usually very meek if their field is down.

Helt Monari
Completely energy species, interacting from borgean space, they cannot hold items, but can replicate energy into known items, and interact with electronics and stasis generators directly. the Monari can survive in space, but are still susceptible to blunt force, burning, and energy based weapons.

Zneria
Diplomat species, tripedal, wear ornate robes and have psychoactive imaginations. very common in the universe, and seen as the standard species in many areas.

I just started playing traveller about 2 months ago, starting with the Classic version. I have just completed the deck plans for a Solari Space worm. the thing is friggin huge!

I'm aware there is also a lot of... made up bs in the descriptions, deal with it.
