CotI Favicon Contest

Is it just me, or does the favicon here look like it came from the dawn of the internet? Surely, one of you reading this can do better. Let the games begin!

You are not wrong about how old and creaky the favicon is. I have zero artistic talent or I would offer up an attempt to do better.

Actually this has bothered me for some time, I just replaced it on my home tab of firefox with my own art

What are the requirements and I'll see what I can come up with.

How about just using the Imperial starburst from MegaTraveller, but make it Yellow and Black?

I don't have any artistic software, or I'd try it out.

Modern browsers all support SVG for fav icons (so they scale to handle any size and pixel density) and with operating system and browsers supporting "dark mode" it's important to design icons that work again light and dark backgrounds - with SVG+CSS you can swap colors for dark mode.

Yes, but maybe tweak the colors? It's just CSS inside the SVG so should be easy in a text editor.
