So ... if DARPA raids our ideas, and then runs with them, and then classifies them, does that mean we'd need a security clearance to play Traveller?

My characters have clearances. And since I like to play in Character and remember nothing all is well. What about your characters? Are you a potential national security risk?
I can see it now:

Looks really expensive, not very re-usable and I can imagine the payload is going to be difficult to deliver at Mach 20, or if it slows for a bomb run then you have a juicy target that is presumably glowing very hot, having travelled at Mach 20.
Being launched from VAFB too, I can imagine there is no element of surprise either. The fact they stole this from Traveller RPG too just sucks totally...

The waverider concept has been worked on since the 1950's
As I understand it, the simple wedge of a classic type 'S' would not work in the same fashion.
However, the game might copy DARPA and give the scout a better shape.
