The genetic testing company 23 and Me is nearing bankruptcy, and the sensitive data contributed by customers could well be sold, without any privacy protections for those customers.
Anyone who's used their services should seriously consider deleting their information, requesting destruction of contributed DNA samples, then deleting their account entirely.
