Book 1, Table E1 "Environmental Effects1" lists Events, Effects, and Notes. "Intense Cold" has an Effect of Cold-16 and is listed as the equivalent of -75 degrees C. "Cold" is listed as having an Effect of Cold-1, the equivalent of 0 degrees C. "Very Cold," the equivalent of a Tundra world in the Habitable Zone +1, has an Effect of Cold-2. But what is the equivalent temperature? It doesn't seem to be a linear scale and I don't see where these rules are actually explained anywhere.
