Fantastic Art

Wow! I have really been impressed by the quality of the art. The mixture of old and new is great but the Traveller mood is there. I did not like Bryan's work too much in T4 (as I am die hard Keith fan who has now been taken in by the great mood pieces of Fading Suns) but he has moved parsecs from T4 and I can actually look forward to more pieces.

Keep up the excellent work. I have yet to start reading T20 but, as I am more of role playing person, these will not matter as much as the mood. Plus, I also got the reprints for Games & JTAS before, I can start...not to mention T$R's book of vile darkness (yes, I got suckered in by Demon Princes).

I second the motion of the art contained within T-20, but I am sorry to point out I did not see any of Bryan's art in T4 HB.
Bryan's art, imho, MAKES the T-20 Book its connection to its predecessors in CT, & MT complete.
I refrain from flamage because opinions are like noses. But...
The starships, and the weapons in the latter half of T20's HB. Way cool stuff. And his Marines in Grav armor picture represents "the definitive look of Imperial powered armor, bar none", according to MWM.
Take that quote for all its worth!
The Bulk of the art in the front half of the book By Stephen Bryant and Paul Daly (especially the character class types, and that awesome front cover in the high tech grav port are stunning. But Gibson's stuff is what gives this book legitmacy in harkening back to prior art for me. And others who've sat about my table(s) and perused what ship or aircraft was after their hides.
I conclude, that without his work, I'd have been leerier than when I picked up T4 about getting a copy.

Emperor's Arsenal and Emperor's Vehicles were (IIRC) Bryan's main T4 books. In fact, I only really bought Emperor's Vehicles because of Bryan's art!

Alas our FLGS never carried them. t4's interest at Ft Campbell waned before their publication. So I cannot judge what I did not see, truth be told.
