I just sent the first draft and all the associated files and art in to Mongoose for the book I was commissioned to write.
To be honest I am feeling a little anxious. This is my first time getting published, and for a game I dearly love. My stomach is in knots, but it feels good to have finished my project on time.
If I knew how much work was involved and how much more there is to do. I'd have thought twice about sending in those first few samples of work...So I am glad I had no idea what I was getting into.
I still have no idea how the Editors will feel about my work, and the whole thing could still blow up in my face. But right now I am going to try not to imagine every possible way I could have messed it up, and rewrite the blasted thing in my head another fifty times.
Assuming it's published I can't wait to see what people think of my ideas. It's been a thrill to have the chance to add to one of my favorite games.
