Forbidden Planet...

I've been watching Forbidden Planet for the first time in years. Wow, that is perfect for a Traveller adventure. Dr. Morbius's tech is probably around TL 16 or 17 as far as I can figure. Maybe a little higher. Did he create it himself? Or was it all an artifact? The crew is definitely a survey crew/replacement crew.

And it's funny, I keep looking at the belts the crew are wearing. They look suspiciously like the Jedi Knight belts in the Star Wars movies.

Anyone ever use the premise in one of their adventures?

Anyone want to take a stab at library data for Forbidden Planet? A possible explanation for why the Altair system doesnt have any planets?
