Dunno. Haven't watched it yet. The reviews say the sfx shots don't transfer well because they weren't done in hi-def. But I have seen the show on run on the Universal hi-def channel, and it looks really, really good. So I'm expecting it will look similar on the bluray.

Yeah, that doesn't make sense - the show looks fine in HiDef to me. Hell, even the regular DVD should look fine if you have a system with decent upconversion.

Firefly looked great on DVD to us. If it wasn't actually shot in HD format then we won't likely be gaining much from HD. Whew! Thought I was going to have to go out and buy it all over again.

Well, we had some folks over yesterday so there's some more lewt to add to out list. The first two seasons of Babylon 5 on DVD (replacing our tapes, which looked plenty good enough until we got our new TV.)
