GenCon "T5 Lite" Rules Analysis

So you all know that Marc was at GenCon last year. Several cons, actually.

And he created a two-page chargen system for T5.

It doesn't fool around with specializations. For example, there is an "Engineer" skill... and a "Fighter" skill... and "Driver" and "Flyer".

Absent is "Jump Drive", "ATV", "Air/Raft" knowledges.

BUT... there are SOME knowledges. For example, the Trades and Sciences are there. Biologics, Electronics, Fluidics, Gravitics, Magnetics, Mechanic, Photonics, Polymers.

In all, he boils it down to 59 skills-and-knowledges which are all treated like skills.

Oh ho ho, I see. Yeah, I had that problem with Naval/Architect, Heavy/Weapons, and Forward/Observer.

Anyway, I see. He's using his 64 Skills.
