GEnie Data File Format issue

ShawnDriscoll

SOC-14 1K
On https://travellermap.com/doc/fileformats#genie-format-sunbane it shows the column numbers used for the fields. Bases are listed as starting at column 31, and Codes & Comments are listed as starting at column 33.

But in the header spacing below it, it's showing Bases starting at 30, and Codes & Comments starting at 32.

I'll try my GEnie files in both formats and see what gives.

ADDED:
Never mind. GEnie isn't supported. Every line had errors in it because SEC was in the room.

Can you file a bug to remind me to fix the docs?

I should also call out that the formats are listed for historical purposes put not all are parsed. Sector data was a total mess when I was getting started so the SEC parser needed to be very forgiving.

Now the site tries to help point out possible errors. It’s a bit pesky.
