GM Screen. Worth it?

I thought it was worth it.
I made my own, but a screen, even if it's not THE screen, is worth it.
I like mine quite a bit. Its heavy too, not just the thin card stock I'm used to seeing as a GMs screen.

I found it too heavy. The tables were all printed in the same shade of brown, which made them hard to navigate. Various useful things on the old lightweight MegaTraveller screens were missing.
The full colour artwork was nice, but that's not where you really need the colours.

The production value is very high. Thick, sturdy, and full color art. The tables on the inside are about average for a GM screen, though it would have been nice if they included a summary chart of the special weapon properties like SAP and what not. There's even plenty of space for it and another small chart, because they used a large block on legal text, which I can't recall ever seeing on a GM screen before.
In my opinion, if you GM MgT and you like screens (not everyone does), then this is a good purchase. It is a solid product that I'd give 4 stars. It would have received 5 stars, if only so much space wasn't taken up by unnecessary legal jargon.

I like it a lot but amended mine a bit like I covered over some of the less useful tables and wrote in my own - eg I got rid of the world classification system which I know backwards anyway and I put on a list of all the MGT skills instead. I also added the CT table for determining surprise and encounter distances which MGT doesnt use for some reason. And I also added the hex to decimal personality characteristics reminder as well - I might know the planetary world classification backwards but can I remember what a hex characteristic of C or D is in decimal off the cuff, not a chance!!
Otherwise though its a very good product. It would have been better if it had tables on the other side for the players though rather than the painting of the Scout ship cockpit (which I don't like much anyway - too much like a cartoonish Wing Commander cockpit rather than a realistic one for me).
