Good adventure conversions?

Hey all!

I may be running a few one-off T20 advantures soon and was wondering -- what CT/MT adventures do you think would make good ports to T20? Most of the full length MT adventures are sort of like The Traveller Adventure - a mini-campaign in its own right and a little too big for the short term campaign I am thinking about.

I was thinking of running something like Murder on Arcturus Station, Nomads of the Death Ocean, or Death Station.

If you have access to the old FASA Skyraiders triolgy, that would work very well.

Alas, I only have one of them. I do have Ordeal by Eshaar and was considering it as well, however.

The Chamax Plague might be a good one to try. Geting the Chamax beasts right might take a little tinkering.

In addition to several of those already mentioned (Death Station, Nomads..., Ordeal by Eshaar), my favorite introductory Trav adventure is Chamax Plague (part 1 of Double Adventure 5). Action, mystery, alien encounter; plus if the players have fun you can inflict the sequel on them (Horde, part 2 of DA5).

I recently ran Death Station and that worked out real well, if a bit lethal
of course, I let the crazies have guns...<g>

I agree, Chamax Plague/Horde would be cool. As would Signal GK, I think.

I'll be running Argon Gambit as a one-off soon.

Horde is really a 50's B movie mini-campaign.

Devine Intervention is a PERFECT one-off for a Merc campaign.

Shadows would be very easy to convert to T20, and makes a nice, short introductory adventure. A little combat, a little problem solving, and a time-deadline component.

As one-shots/ short intro's both Shadows and Annic Nova still hold up pretty well. One would need to think through some back story for the Annic Nova and possibly add some material so it's not quite so inscrutable, but both work rather well.

If you can find them there were some cracking short scenarios in White Dwarf magazine over the years (Marcus Rowland's Tower Trouble, or the classic Sable Rose Affair). I believe Andy Salck has a copy of his Snowbird Mystery scenario up at his website (Halfway Station, can't ermember teh actual URL at the mo')
