I've been using JC to create a 2300 game. I recently purchased the Spacer's Guide and read through it.
For someone who wants to know the ins and outs of microgravity, orbital colony living, in-system navigation and other small but important facets of this genre it is a TREASURE. The book is OOP but easily found on Amazon or drive-thru rpg. It's short and not cluttered with too much math while still conveying all of the information relating to different orbits, how skyhooks and elevators work, living within a colony cylinder and many other topics.
I just finished reading it and have pegged it as one of my all-important reference books for almost any sci-fi genre. Highly recommended.
(Especially for folks, like me, who need a good primer in this stuff!)
