Hello Travellers! Artist needed.

Greetings,

I am a ref of an online game in need of some postable character studies.

The first would be a simple Silhouette of a bat-winged & three tailed 'Salacious Crumb' of a size to sit comfortably on a humans shoulder.

Would any of you fine folks be interested in taking up such a commission for a reasonable donation?

Thank you for your attention.

I could give it a whirl. See my contributions in the Gallery so as to get a feel of my style. Bat winged, three tailed, shoulder mounted imp-like, faithful pet with an instinct for mischeviousness? Pirate parrot-style critter that snickers at the owner's foes from its perch? Annoying calls and vocalizations. Flippant tail wags? Glider wings folded in derision of the sophonts before its master? Animal-based jewelry and horded shinies?

Does that paint the picture with words?

From his cage in the lightless dungeons of OENLAETSVAEG (Ghoekhnael 1938) and for Net-7 News, this is the Pakkrat,

It does indeed.

There are other interesting depths to this gen-modded and 'sold as a ship's mascot' species. They derive trace nutrients from the rare earths used in precision electronics, sniff out and dampen's Psi energies and are easily trained to use shipboard toiletry. Not that I expect any of this to make it into a character sketch of course but I hope it rounds out the picture a bit.

I've used the following image as a touch stone thus far:

Okay. I took a stab at it. It's a doodle I uploaded into the Gallery under Creatures. Black and white, it can be colored and shaded to suit. I was at work during its sketch. Then I came home and inked it for photo-scanning. Hope it fits the bill as a visual aid.

Time for tonight's torture session. Oh hello, guards....

From the dank, moldy cell on OENLAETSVAEG, (Ghoekhnael 1938), this is the Pakkrat.

Wow. It's a fantastic piece of art my friend. Thank you for that. You drew a real character of a critter there. It's a great start. Would you care to engage in some fine tuning with me?

My critter has already been described in our story's cannon as an ennea-pod. Meaning two arms, two wings, two legs and three tails. (Perhaps you can pen in the third tail lovingly wrapped around the human's neck. :smirk:) Also he is beaked rather than fanged. Nothing huge mind you something along these lines:
