HG 2 Combat Pre-Combat Desicion Breaking off by jumping errata question

Howdy all,

The Consolidated CT Errata v0.07 includes the following:

Page 39, Pre-Combat Decision Step, Breaking Off, Jumping (clarification): The ship‘s jump drive, power plant, bridge and computer must be capable of supporting the jump being attempted at the time the jump should take place, and the ship must have sufficient fuel for the jump, or the jump does not happen.

I understand that the jump drive, power plant, computer, and jump fuel must support the jump in order to successfully break away. Unfortunately, the bridge requirement has me a bit puzzled.

I have understood that all starships' have a bridge or am I once again out to lunch?

HG2, page 48, Critical Hit Table, A die roll of 3 results in Bridge Destroyed.

HG2, page 49, Explanation of Damage Results: Bridge Destroyed - The ship may not maneuver or jump. It fires and is fired upon as if its computer were half its actual factor (round down). If the ship has an auxiliary bridge then command my be transferred to it, negating all penalties.

DO NOT ask if a ship can jump with an auxiliary bridge.
