I am needing a little help on OTU ship dimensions

Modular Cutter

I have seen designs for 4.5 to 6m dia.

I would like all the dimensions but if someone could just tell me the OTU diameter (and point me to which document), I would greatly appreciate it.

JTAS 8 has the deckplans for the Broadsword which as cutter wells. The wells in there are 6 M across (4 squares).

...the JTAS article that says 6m tube and 30m long (which comes out to a 60t vessel).

Probably less than 60dtons though. As a cylinder yep, but it's got a hemisphere nose and (mine at least, based on the mini and deckplans) has that necked area at the back and empty thruster cowl. I'm pretty sure it came out darn close to 50dtons when accounting for that. And I kept a 30m overall length.

Parking it in a hanger will take considerably more volume, probably at least double, but CT didn't go for that kind of detail and presumed... well, I'm not sure exactly what they presumed :) I've got a few ideas but...

in Gurps, the Modular Cutter book (really cool resource) has them at 21' x 21' x 42' (21 foot diameter, 42 feet long, close enough to 6m diameter & 12m long = (err, pi * r^2 * l = 3.14 * (3*3) * 12 = 339.12, divide by 13.5 tons/m^3 = 25.5dTon; divied by 14 = 24.2 dTon)

Note: 21 feet = 6.4m actually. I'd just do 6 meter diamter x 14.5m long, giving 29.26dTon.

Edit: this just for the module itself, not the cutter portion.

Could be two different designs. I know it probably isn't, that it's most likely the same design that all sources talk about and that some get it wrong (After all, the concept that a place like the Imperium might have two different designs for the same general purpose is much too radical to contemplate). But it could be a useful handwave if you have two different sets of deckplans.

Or try calculating which design comes closest to the specified tonnage. That one would be the right one.

...but that reminds me, I've posted a pic of an alternate Cutter here somewhere too, a much cooler looking one in my opinon. Very Eagle (of Space: 1999 fame) like. Official too, MT Rebellion Sourcebook, artist Rob Caswell. Click the link below:
