For those not familiar with the thread it was discussing ships tonnage vs polity size and I mentioned that IMTU Ling offers a series of ships for use by client and non-aligned states that they can buy on an asset to debt trade (i.e. Ling gets exclusive mining rights or the ability to build a megafactory tax free for 100 years or the like in exchange for you getting a ready made navy.)
I am not a designer so please excuse the uglyness. Please find attached the MgT2e ship designs for the various variants (using google sheets that I think I found on this forum).
General - Military ship tonnage versus polity size/affluence?
I'll give you an example in Traveller. The Darrians are buying technological level fifteen starwarships from the Imperium. With, presumably, all accompanying spacecraft systems, including weapons. They do have set aside a specific area that is to remain empty.
