It's the library data from classic Traveller sources, which is completely compatible with T20 since the T20 setting is set in the same universe.

The only differences are the setting that T20 has chosen to develop is the Gateway domain rather than the Spinward Marches or the Solomani Rim, and the date of classic Traveller is 1105 onwards while Gateway is set about 100 years earlier during the time of the Solomani Rim war.
 
I was thinking of playing a psionic and didnt see any info about psionics being illegal in the players handbook....so was just wondering.
 
Well, 'illegal' can be open to interpretation in your game.

You're playing T20. Are you playing in the Gateway region? Although I'm sure it is illegal everywhere you go, Gateway domain is a frontier region and they would probably be less enforcement as opposed to say the Spinward Marches, where psionics is a big bad thing to do.
 
The OTU, official line isn't that it is illegal to have psionic ability. However Psionic Institutes, depending on timeframe, but basically beginning just before the Fourth Frontier War is the timeframe for this, are illegal. Also in the same period people with psionics are regarded with suspiscion, mistrust, and hostility by the general population. During the period before that, Psionic Institutes actually held Imperial Charters.
 
Not sure of the setting we're going to be using yet just etting set up and only have one Players Handbook so far.

If you want to see a neat way to run Psionics check out the first two seasons of Babylon 5. They have a good way of showing a stigmatism towards Psionics and their usefulness.
