I've got nothing to do with ShapeShifter's auction, but I will say that the JTAS issues are an incredible resource for a Classic Traveller game. They're full of optional, variant, and even official Classic Traveller rules. There's beasties and aliens, equipment, worlds, and starships. Lots of discussion on different aspects of Traveller, plus NPCs, new careers, and adventure scenarios.

No CT Ref should be without the collection.
