Massive game collection about to go on Ebay

Hey everyone! For those of you unaware, Ebay is doing a free-listing promotion until the 7th. If you list auction-style with them and the bidding starts at $1 or less, your listing is free and you only pay if it sells! Maximum auction length is 7 days for this deal, or if you want to pay for listings, it's up to 10 days.

So today I made my PA carry about 16 arm-loads of heavy gaming goodness over to her house and she's going to put them on Ebay for me tonight and tomorrow. Sure, I could do it myself, but life takes up too much of my time, and time is precious right now.

If you head over to my website, I've got a basic list of what will be available and when she starts putting it up later today and tomorrow, I'll post a link to the list. It's a LOT, so she's inventorying it and it's gonna take some time to post it all.

We're not entirely sure if she'll be doing the listing using her account or mine, but I only just found out about this deal and she just got back from her vacation, so it's all a big rush for her to inventory about 200+ books, magazines, and games, most of it Traveller.

My website is, as always, www.mopjockey.com.

In the coming weeks I'll probably put more of my old stuff up, so keep watching my site for updates. My site's naturally worth watching anyway, and if you've got a Google account, add yourself to the list of people who watch it so you're first to get word.

So stop on by, keep your eye on the post, and bid 'til it hurts. I'll remember it when I'm twice as famous next year, and maybe mention you to my incredibly gorgeous friend, Lacey Chabert. Really, I'd do that for you! ;)

It didn't allgo as planned. Any of you who've been following me on my website, you know the drama that has unfolded. The latest news is that all the auctions that were started have ended. Most of the gamer stuff that got posted got sold, but she did such a poor job of listing them, and such a poor job of getting them listed at all, that they didn't go for very much. Quite a few books went for a buck or so that could easily have made $5 if she'd gotten them all listed while there was so much good will.

I've been trying to find someone else to do the job, and had several respondants, but no one is interested in PAID WORK. I guess the economy isn't as bad as everyone says it is.

If any of you lives anywhere near Daytona Beach and wants to handle the rest of this collection - about half of it is gone - and/or would like to list a LOT of other intersting stuff, perhaps make a career out of it (there are actual brick-and-mortar ebay stores where you can go and have them list your stuff, but none are in this area), please let me know.

I have no doubt that someone who has a clue what they're doing will get these sold for at least twice as much as what she got rid of them for, and I tie paycheck to performance, so that means your paycheck gets bigger too.

Anyone wanting to stop by for the day, or for a couple hours to take pics of everything and then go list it, (and get first dibs on the juicy stuff) please get with me at theds@mopjockey.com.

Thanks,
- Jaycee (TheDS) Adams
