Okay, breaking legs isn't fun. Even less fun is being left totally knackered by it all. But I'm finally out of bed and slowly recovering, so yay for that.

Glad to hear you're up and about, if only partially. I broke my leg way back when I was 14. No fun. Best wishes.

I suppose if you had to break something a leg is the way to go. Small consolation though. Mend fast and well Andrew :)

I feel for you Andrew.

I remember well the 6 months in a body cast when I was 11.
Had to break my thigh, couldn't break the lower leg, nooooo.
Hardest part was the itching, till dad came up with a bicycle pump to blow baby powder into the cast.

Broke it playing football (US).

Read the entire Encyclopedia Britanica set that my parents got for me.

Heal swiftly!
If you have to break a leg, make sure that it is on a perilous Swiss slope. That way you may be thereafter nursed by buxom Swiss ski bunnies. :)

vacuum cleaner works better for that. Use that thin nozzle for getting between the seat cushions......

At least you're mobile now; lying in bed isn't all that much fun after the first 12 hours. Spent 2+ weeks in a hospital bed once due to a blow to the eye socket; there was some bleeding in my eye and they didn't want me moving about so they covered my eyes, gave me a sedative, and turned off the lights literally and figuratively. I spent the next few weeks in and out of a haze with only a radio to listen to. Might as well have been in a low berth except no survival roll.

Hope you heal up quick!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Andrew, I don't envy you, I spent seven weeks off work with smashed ligaments in my left foot around fifteen years ago, not a pleasant place to be.

Take care and look after yourself!

Hope you get better soon, Dude. If you want, I'll trade you my poison ivy.

(no, I take that back, there are only one or two people on Earth I'd wish this on)

Ouch. Not good, and sorry to hear aboout it. get well soon, and be thankful it wasn't your writing arm ;-)
