MGT "Fat Cat" Far Trader on Kickstarter

Kickstarter has a Mongoose Traveller Far Trader book up:

I pledged. I think the deckplans alone are worth the price of being a backer. Maybe it's just me, but I like having deckplans in print (and having them nicely done as well).

They're talking with Marc Miller about getting the T5 stats for this ship included in the supplement. Of course I'm all for that (otherwise I'd have to make up unofficial ones for my gaming group).

I'm in as well, as of today. It just broke $1000, but there's a long way to go to hit $4500 in just over a week. I'm surprised that there isn't more interest in this from more Traveller players at large. I haven't seen a product taking such a comprehensive approach toward ship design and deckplans, and from the illos I've seen, it's really sweet. It'd be a shame if this failed, I'd like to see more 3PP of this quality.

We've picked up a lot of momentum since we got the FFE license, and, along with it, a lot of advice about new places to advertise. Personally, I am very encouraged - I think there's a good chance that the upswing will continue. We're getting more people talking about it every day!
