I see the button there but I've no idea how to use it, could someone walk me through it, please?

I feel like an idiot, I've been manually doing it when I felt I needed to.

Click the multi-quote button on each of the posts that you want to quote, and then just hit one of the regular "Quote" buttons or the "Post Reply" button, and all of your selected quotes should be there.

Thanks. That's not quite what I thought it was, though, I was thinking it was a way to quote individual paragraphs. Is there a way to do that without manually adding quote /quote?

Not in VBulletin, which is what the board uses.
