My Ancient Race: Fabreenie (The Ancients)
I have decide to steal from pop-culture the Greys, in which many people say are the Aliens for the UFOs seen around Earth today.
Fabreenie(The Greys):
Greys are typically dark grey-skinned diminutive humanoid beings that possess reduced forms of, or completely lack, external human organs such as noses, ears or sex organs. Their bodies are usually depicted as being elongated, having a small chest, and lacking in muscular definition and visible skeletal structure. Their legs are shorter and jointed differently from what one would expect in a human. Their limbs are proportionally different from a human's; their humerus and thighs are the same lengths as their forearms and shins, respectively.
Greys have unusually large heads in proportion to their bodies. They have no hair anywhere on the body, including the face, and no noticeable outer ears or noses, but only small openings or orifices for ears and nostrils. They have very small mouths, and very large opaque black eyes with no discernible iris or pupil. Sometimes Greys have no noticeable nostrils or mouths. Their height was 6 feet tall, but their clones are between 2-4 feet tall.
There are no more natural born Fabreenie left alive. There are a few 1st generation clones left, and they tend to be 5 feet tall. Most the rest of the Fabreenie that are around are many generation clones and they are between 2-4 feet tall. It was discovered by the Fabreenie far to late that to clone a clone and so on was to have drastically bad side effects and that eventually you reach a point where no more clones can be made.
The Fabreenie had a great civil war amongst themselves, and the issues were DNA Genetic alterations to their racial DNA being to improve the race, and the creation of clones, to further help populate the race. A great war raged across the stars, and when the dust settled not a natural born Fabreenie was left alive. There were a few 1st generation clones and they placed themselves into Cryo-sleep to help preserv the racial DNA, and many other clones were created to run what was left of the Fabreenie culture.
The central command and now hub home world of what is left, is also the Fabreenie’s greatest accomplishment…Ring World. A great super structure Ring around a Yellow Star that they simply call Core Prime. There is much located there and most Fabreenie clones that are alive live and work there still. The population is maybe 1/10000 th of what it could be, but still a lot of Fabreenie clones are there.
Now as a sub plot there is a long forgotten project complex that is a Genetics lab, where some Proto-Humans are frozen. It would seem that some 25,000 years ago the Fabreenie spliced in some of their DNA into a new race and uplifted it (the missing link in Human development). Basically current human DNA 2/5 th of human DNA comes from the base human creature, and another 2/5 th is spliced in Fabreenie DNA. The remaining 1/5 th is modern human new DNA that has developed. So what this means any active Fabreenie tech will recognize humans as Fabreenie and work for them if they can figure out how to make it work. Also for the Fabreenie, if they figure out what humans are, they will scan human DNA and learn that humans are the answer to fixing their own DNA problems. If they re-splice back into their own DNA their own lost DNA markers and the new Human DNA ones they will be able to save their race. There are a whole bunch of plots within plots within plots for that. Abductions and baby farms and the like…to the Fabreenie the end justifies the means.
