Of all the forums I frequent this is the most interesting. The amount of knowledge is impressive. The depths of some of the discussions often make me feel like a dullard (people keep telling me I’m not but who knows). History, Politics, Science, Strategy, Tactics. Sure other boards have these things but not all together and not with the wide range of well thought out opinions (mostly).

I think this is a tribute to SF in general and Traveller in particular that the board has such wide ranging intellects and variety of topics. Sometimes the thread derailments are the best part. Also, I know I haven’t been here long but I can’t recall seeing a flame war or ad hominem attacks. It’s all ridiculously gentlemanly and well behaved.

Oh, they've happened. A few folks banned over behavior - at least one more than once. But, generally, it's a really good bunch.

In no small part, the flame wars are minimized by the No Politics and No Religion rule.
