NASA - 7 min of terror - landing on mars

Oh, my stars and garters!

Talk about ambitious! If they get this one wrong, they'll be eating crow for years. Honestly, the point that worries me most in this whole thing is that skycrane maneuver. Get that wrong and the rover's either covered in dust or yanked up and dropped.

Given the history of NASA sending things to Mars, does anyone else see a problem here?!?
 
Just FYI if you or anyone you know has an XBOX and a Live account there's a bunch of Curiosity stuff up on XBL now. Videos and a free "Can you land the rover?" game to download. Haven't checked the game out yet, still downloading. They'll also be covering touchdown, live, on XBL. One more way to follow the mission.
