Navy Uniforms

What sort of information is there about Third Imperium naval uniforms? I've found some pictures, but haven't found much that seems to scream canonical to me.

We know what Duty Marine uniforms look like, and we have the JIS rank insignia. The JIS ranks are canonically used for all services...

Traveller's Digest #9 includes Imperial Guard Uniforms.
The uniforms are scarlet and gold; the Marine unit is a scarlet right-side-closing flap-front high-collar* tunic with gold band down the right edge of the flap, a helmet not unlike those in SW Ep IV, a gold sam browne belt with large two-piece buckle, and Epaulettes that appear to join the collar-seam.

TD14 gives the Marine Dress Uniform, at least for line Marines...
Take USMC dress blues...
Make the jacket crimson, with black epaulettes and piping, a red hat instead of white, and the buttons and button flap a little to the right of centerline.

Officer Insignia, in TD14:
On epaulette of dress and office, on center chest of CES (and Vacc Suit, Cbt Armor, and BD, as well presumably), and on hat.
O1 to O3: 1/2/3 small silver starbursts. (probably about 1-2cm)
O4 to O6: 1/2/4 large gold starbursts (probably about 3-4 cm)
O7-O10: 1/2/3/4 large 4 point stars (probably 3-4 cm)

Enlisted Insignia, TD14:
On a square on both sleeves or on field hat and CES center front.
E1: No disks
E2: left edge
E3: left & right edges
E4-E6: add dot at top
E5-E9: add dot at bottom
Note that there is an illo showing a "4 corner dots" insignia.
CSM, BnSM, and RSM wear cuff insignia, not dots. (This follows old british usage... in the US, Co and Bn have 1st Sgt, not SMs...)
Likely, CSM would be a cutlass and starburst
BSM would probably add a short wreath (to midline of starburst)
RSM would probably add a tall wreath (to top of starburst) and rotate the short wreath outward...
Spoiler:

Arm of service on a triangle below square.
Infantry: Laser Rifle & Cutlass per saltire
Cav: Mailed fist with cutlass
Arty: MRL-rocket crossing a cutlass (Use current issue ammo)
CBE: Stone Wall being cleaved by a cutlass
MP: Billy Club and Cutlass atop riot shield
Commando: skeletal hand, holding 3-bladed cutlass
Medical: Caduceus.
Non-combat: Cutlass and relevant tool of trade.

Note also, mention is made of traditional stripes for certain Army and Marine units...
Note that, given US traditional insignia to match US traditional rank titles... and that Marc, Frank, and other GDW staffers were in the US military....
E1 No insignia
E2 No insignia, later 1 rocker, later still, once chevron. Take your pick
E3 one chevron, later chevron and rocker or chevron with central insignia. If E2 is chevron, use Chevron & Rocker or Chevron and a central mark.
E4 2 chevrons
E5 3 chevrons
E6 3 chevrons 1 rocker
E7 3 & 2
E8 3 & 3
E9 3 & 4 or 3 & 3 with special central insignia
E9+ 3&4 w/Insignia
Note that E7+ appointments to CSM, BSM and RSM would likely be cuff insignia, still, instead of the US pattern of center of stripes insignia, but might use instead...
CoSM would likely be E8 with diamond (upright, H=2xW or H=3xW)
Bn SM would likely be E9 with 4 point star (crossed diamonds)
RSM would likely be E9 with starburst.

Digest Group's Grand Survey and World Builder's Handbook have illustrations of Scout uniforms.
