I rolled up a navy character with a high social skill because they made it up to Admiral (soc=12 automatic benefit from rank) and then got another +2 on the mustering out table. Looking for details regarding nobles, all I found was the chart giving sample noble titles based on Social Standing. I have had the book less than a week and have not read everything but I did look in the index and skim through all the pages. Is there any other info on Nobles?
Did Mongoose want us to fill in the blanks from old materials (which I do not own)
Did Mongoose purposely leave details out so that you could create whatever universe you want? As they put it in the book
Did Mongoose leave it out on purpose to sell supplemental materials?
or is there something I'm missing?

the Traveller rules can be used to model almost any science fiction novel, movie, or setting, the traditional setting for games is the Third Imperium of Mankind
