one notes that in traveller half of all worlds are half-covered by oceans, yet despite an "average tech level of 12" ocean-dominated settings and actions are few and far between. in honor of Mr. Squeeak, would anyone care to share their game or adventure or event in a marine setting where the ocean was more than just background scenery?

CT Adventure 9 - Nomads of the World Ocean: "Nomads of the World-Ocean deals with attempts by a party of adventurers to gather evidence of corporate wrongdoing on an ocean-covered world"

In Across the Bright Face, I had one of the whale encounters be with a unit of Imperial Army Orcas. They both helped the party (after all, the Marine PC was a general) and created a situation where the party went out of their way to get those Orca repatriated to Regina...

Not really ocean, but I once played an adventure in Barcelona (Earth), where I assumed half of it was flooded due to Imperial bombing of the dikes that protected it from the sea raising.

The first parts of it included a recovery of one object in the flooded part of the city, with some undersea opperations.

I wrote a patron encounter, years ago, about a ship that disappeared from the sensor screens and presumably crashed in the ocean. Patron Ecounter: Wet Feet. If memory serves, it´s on Stellar Reaches #5.

I think you mean Mission on Mithril. Across the Bright Face takes place on a vacuum world.

The Mongoose Adventure The Calixcuel Incident is set in and around an underwater archology, complete with submarine travel and giant-squid fighting.

I ran through it with my players a couple months ago, we had a good time.

White Dwarf 29 has the scenario Weed War – an underwater adventure that takes place on Vinorian/Rhylanor.

There is a 2300AD scenario in the November 1990 issue of Far and Away magazine titled Call to Arms .

These scenarios involve political intrigue, piracy, and the illegal harvesting of aquatic plants.

In Challenge #61 there was a mercenary adventure for wet navy sailors: the Equalizer Project. The naval campaign is vital in this war.

I ran the Thoughtwaves Amber Zone (JTAS13) a few years back. My gaming group enjoyed it, the underwater scenario changed up the normal operating environment and the suspenseful aspect of the plot kept them guessing.
