old school Classic Traveller Character Generator

Enoff

SOC-13
Using Scott Everts' Classic Traveller Character Generator written for the Apple II. This looks like a great straight forward program.

You can download the program on the Freelance Traveller page http://freelancetraveller.com/infocenter/swlist/appleprogs.html

I used the AppleWin emulator that worked perfectly.

Well I've wasted more than an hour now that I have an Apple IIe emulator looking for software. I never had an Apple II, I didn't get my first computer until the 90s. I would have loved to have had one though.

That's nice and simple.

Any chance I can take a peek inside the disk image? I'd LOVE to see how they've structured the careers or even look at the source code (whatever language this was written in). Maybe I'll write something similar in Python...

You can view and edit the skills tables in the program. I don't know if the source code is available to see the structure of the program. I imagine this is compiled? I guess the operating system would be Apple Dos 3.3
