A Final Word

I just got the combined Book 1-3 reprint that they offer here. It has everything I need to participate as a player in a PBEM I'm enjoying. It's a great size and hey, since I've never played CT (played MT, skipped T4, TNE), it seems to have everything covered! I don't know what I'm missing (Books 4-a billion is seems), but all the basics are here for a game.

I also went crazy and got T20, D20 modern, and D20 future. Probably should have skipped D20 modern and future, but hey, when you live overseas, why nickel and dime yourself to death with shipping. ;)

T20 looks great and I'm hoping to run a game in the future.

Thanks Sigg, that helps a lot! Now I just have to decide if I want the standard one or the GRIP version.

FE: Thanks for confirming that it's pretty much all I need. I'm not a big fan of mandatory supplements.

If I had $$$$ I probably would.

BTW, if I want to get one of my FLGSes to order it in for me, what do I tell them to look for? They can only find the 0-8 etc. reprints from FFE.

Border Reiver, by all accounts your reply gave a warm and fuzzy. Yer can't escape the lure of the material from the beginnings, and as the reprints are readily available, that's the way to go if you want to experience the tradition of Traveller. When the "Players Handbook" is hammered out and in print, then I'll give T20 its due.
