Personal Data Forms

Hello,

I am looking at starting up a Traveller campaign this weekend or next week depending on what the schedule of the players. I've looked at my copies of T20, Megatraveller and GURPS Traveller (and T4) and am storngly leaning towards using CT for this. After all, it's simple enough to be learned quicky and fast enough to make characters in case of "accidental" character demise.

And since my copy machine has been a broken heap of junk since 1996, I rely on the magic of the internet to get me my character sheets for all games that I don't buy them for (yes, I do buy character sheets, I like the feel fo them against my body).
So if anyone could point me in the direction of a clean and nice CT personal form and a High Guard-compatible ship form, I'd be a very happy swede. And you do know what happens when the swedes are happy? That's right, we send out the bikini team to visit those that helped us find pdf's online :D

Oh, and that thing about rubbing bought sheets against my body was a fib. I promise. Really.

Welcome aboard Owlmonster :D

The fLibrary may have some of what you're after. There's a link in the menu bar across the top of the page. And another handy resource there is the Starport which can take you to many wonderous sites

One that might have what you want if it's not in the fLibrary is the Mad Irishman's site:

www.mad-irishman.net

Another very handy site for fun stuff is the Zhodani base:

www.zho.berka.com

Have fun!

I hope these hit the spot!
Oh yes, those were lovely! Too many try to be funky with colours, pictures of juggling bears and whatnots, but those was exactly what I was looking for. Good old-fashioned Traveller forms that fit on one page and... yes. Thank you. Yum.

Greetings, Owlmonster!

You did not mention (or I missed it in another thread) how long you have been playing TRAVELLER. Any of us old mossybacks have long ago cobbled up our own forms, having long ago discovered the limitations inherent in the commercially available ones.

Wish I could get a copy to you...I made one to help me create believable characters, keeping track of when they were promoted, wounds, term skills, etc. Looking over the sheet and applying some twisted logic, I create a background as well as motivations for the character.

One of these days I'm going to get off my lazy ass and make a web site so everyone can see how deranged I really am...

Perceptive of you. I did not say because it is a very shameful part of my gaming history, it is. For you see, despite ownership of MT, T4, GURPS T20 and the reprinted CT and a rpg history that goes back 16 years, I have yet to play it. Yes, you read me correctly, I have never played Traveller. Oh, I've devised campaigns, grand journeys and great storys but.. alas, never played it. Despite loving the setting (but not always the rules), never once played it. So I'm quite excited. :D

Owlmonster, don't be embarassed...

Played D&D way back in the late 70's, gradually dropped it as I was the only DM in the area and drifted in TRAVELLER.

Never really played MT scenarios, TNE was just too short a time period to interest me (though I bought the core, rules, FF&S and WTH as references), even bought the T4 corebook for reference.

Meanwhile, I have played everything from TOP SECRET to CHAMPIONS to a bunch of the old SJG minigames (remember them?). ?Even SPACE OPERA. Still, I drift back to CT with a bit of MT for spice.

Jump in--the water's fine!
