Planetary Map of Sylea (Core 2118)

Has a planetary map of Sylea ("Capital", Core 2118) ever been published in the official canon, and if so, where? I read the Traveller Wiki page but it didn't give me all that much crunch. If there's an official one out there already, I'd hate to have to draw one up from scratch.

There was a world and cultural profile in Travellers Digest #9.
No actual map, though the most relevant bits for mapping from it-

4 Tectonic plates
5 Major Continents
5 Major islands
9 Archipelagos
Native life

I won't go on much more here as I am uncertain about reactions/cannonicity of the DGP products since "the incident" and dont want to stir up trouble.

Gurps:Traveller Humaniti has a map of Sylea.

All the maps in that book are done in grey scale and are very hard to read.

All the art in that book is below Gurps standards for some reason.

I'm going through the book now. Every single piece of artwork in the GURPS Humaniti book has a problem of some kind. It's like they downloaded public domain clip art to use. It could have been one of the last GURP Traveller books produced while Steve Jackson wanted to do stupid pet tricks (I mean card games for the ADHD) instead.

It's odd to me (being a relative newb at CT) that the Main World for the canon universe was never thoroughly fleshed-out. Would I be too far off by envisioning something even remotely akin to Coruscant?

I guess I'll have to buckle down and make an icosahedral map of it myself.

It has been fleshed out. Twice actually.

The first time was in a DGP magazine, but that would be hard for you to find.

The second time was in the GURPS Traveller book "Humaniti" and that book used the stuff from the magazine. You can easily buy that book or it's pdf at SJ Games site.
