OTU Only: Port Admiral's -Naval administration?

Dagrill

SOC-13
Hi,

I was looking at the Five Sister's subsector in the Spinward Marches. The area is described as under 'Naval Administration', several worls are captive government's, several are not member's of the Imperium.

I was wondering what the canon is on this area? Are the captive government's managed by Port Admiral's?

What is the officila status of the non Imperial worlds? How often does the IN visit them and in what strength?

Regards

David

The bulk of information about Five Sisters are to be found in Behind the Claw. With the caveat that it has quite a few I-wish-the-author-hadn't-done-thats and several that-CAN'T-be-trues here's what it has to say:

The overview mentions an 'provincial governor' residing on Iderati, but the only captive world under naval rule (Karin) has its governor appointed by the admiral commanding the 208th Fleet (the Imperial fleet stationed in Five Sisters). So whether the admiral and the governor are one and the same and their relationship if they're not is unclear.

What is the officila status of the non Imperial worlds?

Some are client states; the rest are non-aligned.
