Power Supplies [MT]

ChalkLine

SOC-11
The following power supply units can be derived from the Ref's Manual;

Solar Cell Unit, Tech Level 12+ (less efficient models available at TL 6+)
8kg, vol 10 litres, 2,000cr, 81Kw/h, 1m²
Multiple units may be connected together. Conditions, atmosphere combined with worldsize or other factors may degrade efficiency.

Batteries Tech Level 15
1kg, vol 1 litre, 1,000cr, 1x 7Kw/h

Fuel Cell Units, Tech Level 15, (Needs fuel tankage)
10kg, vol 20 litres, 600cr, 30Kw/h, 0.1 l/h
or
15kg, vol 30 litres, 800cr, 60Kw/h, 0.15 l/h
or
20kg, vol 40 litres,1000cr, 90Kw/h 0.2 l/h

Hydrogen Fuel Tank
94.5kg, vol 1350 litres, 75cr.

Cracking Station Tech Level 15, (Creates refined fuel from water, needs fuel tankage)
14kg, vol 40 litres, 10cr.
6 litres per hour, requires 150w/h

I like what you posted. The Fuel Cells could also be listed like this:

Fuel Cell Units, Tech Level 15, (Needs fuel tankage)
one base unit:
5kg, vol 10 litres, 400cr, 0Kw/h, 0.05 l/h

plus multiple power generating cells:
1 kg, vol 2 litres,40 cr, 6 Kw/h, 0.01 l/h

I’ll leave it to you to decide whether your listing or this listing is better.
:)

I have some that Onno Meyer made/compiled for his 1001 Toys for GT. He might have them on his VOTW website, somplace.

My standard survival kit contains a 'Unigen' or universal generator.
Used for low power applications such as recharging portable equipment, it comprises a generator unit that may be attached to a variety of 'front end modules', including a solar collector, a wind turbine and a steam boiler. Hopefully, you can always find something to convert to electricity.
The modular kit is about the size of a beer crate.

I'm unfamiliar with that unit; mostly, I buy beer in either six-bottle or twelve-bottle packages. The twelve-pack can be managed one-handed, though it's easiest to carry if I carry it under my arm like a football. It's (very roughly) a cube about 12 inches across.

Does that correspond to what you're thinking of?

I think he's talking what in Australia we call 'long necks', or 750ml bottles in a pack of 12. A crate of beer here would be about 300mm x 300mm x 450mm.
