Printing out the T20 books

I just bought a copy of the three books online but I'd like to be able to read the file without having to be on my computer. I thought I'd take the file down to kinkos along with the receipt in order to print it out (and show them that I paid for it) but they didn't want to print it out because of copyright issues.

Is this something that's permissible to do once you've purchased the book or is it frowned upon?

What I've been able to read so far has me really excited. I'm planning on using the base rules but making my own universe. I have a group of friends who are used to the d20 system and this book will be the perfect way to transition them into something different for a change.

Thanks a lot.

I don't have an issue with you taking it to Kinko's to print out a copy for your own personal use.

Now if you were to print multiple copies and hand them out, I'd have an issue but you'd also end up paying a fortune for each one ;)

EDIT: Best I can tell you is try another Kinkos or another copyshop. From what I hear some Kinkos will some won't.

is it watermarked with your name ? flash ID and see if that makes a difference. ask to see the store manager, or show up when he's there.

it'll probably be something that's going to evolve with the process.

None of our products are watermarked, even from DTRPG (or at least they shouldn't be).

Speaking of hard copies, is this hardcopy version of the T20 mainbook still on stock? I finally have a paypal account so I'm thinking about ordering T20 hardcopy (printing is expensive for me and only B&W so I prefer a hardcopy).

I downloaded the T20 Lite and am planning to start up a T20 campaign. I used to run campaigns from the first week CT was released; CT, MT, NE and reviewed the more recent books by Far Future. I keep hearing about the D20 system that requires the D&D books. Is this necessary for T20? Is everything that a ref needs included in the hard book? And what is available for download besides the T20 Lite?

Thanks

If you know how to spend points to buy skills, no you don't need the D20 core books. Everything you need is in the d20 SRD anyway.
