Really nice

Even here in England, the firemen and ambulence workers of NY and Washington are great. Maximum respect due.

People are always asking where ther heros are today. September 11 shows us that they can be found almost everywhere. Some wear blue, others ugly rubber coats and funny hats, and some wear just normal clothes when they find out that death is near and they go down fighting. I can't say what I would do in the same situation-I just don't know. But we can all be proud of those who are, and were, and found the hero inside of themselves.

9/11 May we never forget..

To the NY Fire Chief, his Lt., his troops and NY's finest, the police. They went, not to battle, but to save life. They knew the risks, standing there, before thousands of tons of flaming, trembling, sky-reaching steel and concrete, and went forward, not to battle but to save life.
They would have said: "It's just my job."
How can we not be in awe of that?
My son, spotting a fireman/woman, a policeman/woman, ambulance workers, calls them 'Rescue Heroes' and he has never been wrong. Though, they usually smirk, shyly, and deny it, I am proud my son knows the truth.
